Atlanta Real Estate Investors Alliance, LLC (“Atlanta REIA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This SMS Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information associated with our text messaging program.
Information We Collect
When you subscribe to or interact with the Atlanta REIA SMS program, we may collect:
- Your mobile telephone number
- Your name and contact information
- Your SMS consent and opt-in records
- The date, time, and method of your subscription

- Message delivery, response, link-click, and engagement information
- Your communication preferences, including opt-out requests
We may collect this information when you complete an online or paper form, register for an event or membership, make a purchase, text a keyword such as START to our SMS number, or otherwise expressly agree to receive text messages from us.

We do not sell or rent your mobile telephone number or SMS consent information. We do not share mobile information, text messaging originator opt-in data, or consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
The preceding restriction does not prevent us from sharing information with service providers that support the delivery and operation of our SMS program, provided they use the information only to provide those services.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of business assets. Any successor will remain subject to the restrictions stated in this policy concerning SMS consent information.
Data Security and Retention
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain SMS information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate our messaging program, honor opt-out requests, maintain consent records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.
Your Choices and Rights
You may opt out of marketing text messages at any time by replying STOP to any Atlanta REIA text message. You may reply HELP for assistance.
You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Certain information may be retained when necessary to comply with the law, document consent or opt-out activity, resolve disputes, or protect our legal rights.
Opting out of text messages does not automatically unsubscribe you from email or other communications. Where applicable, you must manage those preferences separately.
Children’s Privacy
Our SMS program is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the program. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can address the matter.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this SMS Privacy Policy periodically. The revised policy will be posted on our website with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use or disclose SMS information, we may provide additional notice as required by applicable law.
